It’s never fun
In the summer sun
To take the dogs on a morning run
Not in the summer heat
The sun is high
In the summer sky
Not a cloud in sight
The sun
A blazing ball of fire
Burns the one
Who dares to leave
The comfort of AC
The scorching air
The blistering heat
The blinding sun
I cannot beat
Taking the dogs on a morning run
In the summer sun.
